HI, I’M TRESSA
I work with people who want to understand how their relationship with the world impacts their quality of life. We have all interacted with trauma on some level and we all have a vision of who we want to become and what that means. Finding the courage to explore that meaning with a therapist can be some of the hardest and most deeply rewarding work a human can choose to engage in. I approach every human with compassion and genuine curiosity to understand how their unique collection of experiences has informed, and is continuously informing, their truth, self-understanding, and life.
I am a pre-licensed associate clinician and a graduate student of Pacifica Graduate Institute. My training is in Depth Psychology, psychodynamics, and somatic therapy, which is client-centered, includes the unconscious, activates imagination, and incorporates a mind-body connection to treatment. I have also have specific training in Hakomi, Ecopsychology, and Primary Attachment Theory.
My practice is one of relational integration. I help my clients recover the integrity of their whole lived experience in the context of their present moment goals and concerns. I offer an honest, mindful, collaborative space to witness and work with oneself in pursuit of healing – finding some helpful ways to live in relationship with all parts of yourself.
I’d love to help you discover new meaning in those places, experiences, and relationships with all the beautiful complexity that allows you to be exactly who you are.
